This privacy policy is to inform you about the extent to which we process your personal data (hereinafter referred to as “data”).
B. What is personal data and what does data processing mean?
- Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person who can be identified directly or indirectly.
- Special categories of personal data are data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person's sex life or sexual orientation.
- Processing is any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or modification, reading, querying, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or any other form of provision, comparison or linking, restriction, deletion or destruction.
C. Data processing
We process data in the course of operating our website and in the course of communication. The processing of the data also includes disclosure by transmission. The data, processing purposes, legal bases, recipients and transfers to third countries concerned in detail are listed below:
a) Log file
Your visit to our website is logged. The following data is processed: name of the website accessed, date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, the browser type and version, the operating system you are using, the referrer URL (the previously visited website), your IP address and the requesting provider. We process the data on this basis in accordance with our legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR in order to ensure the security of the website. The log file is deleted after seven days, unless it is needed to clarify or prove specific legal violations that have become known within the retention period.
b) Hosting
As part of the hosting process, all data processed in connection with the operation of this website is stored. This is necessary to enable the operation of the website. We process the data accordingly on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR. To provide our online presence, we use the services of web hosting providers to whom we transfer the above data.
c) Contact
If you contact us, your data (name, contact details, if provided by you) and your message will be processed exclusively for the purpose of processing and handling your request. These data are processed by us on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 b) DSGVO or Art. 6 para. 1 f) DSGVO to process your request.
d) Order and contract processing
We process your name, address and payment information for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. However, we do not process personal data of special categories through our websites. The data processing is carried out on the basis of our pre-contractual and/or contractual obligations in accordance with Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR and Art. 9 (2) h) GDPR.
e) Cookies
We use cookies to enable the use of certain functions. These are small data packages that are stored on your device and exchanged with other providers. Some of the cookies we use are deleted immediately after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). We process the data on this basis in accordance with our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR to ensure the functionality of our website.
Other cookies that remain on your device and allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies) are not used.
You can delete all cookies stored on your device and set the common browsers to prevent the storage of cookies.

D. Integration of external content
We use external dynamic content to optimize the presentation and the offer of our website. When you visit the website, a request is automatically sent to the server of the respective content provider via API, in which certain log data (e.g. the IP address of the user) is transmitted. The dynamic content is then transmitted to our website and displayed there. We use external content in connection with the following functionalities:
a) Google Fonts
We use external fonts from Google Fonts to make visiting our website more attractive. These are loaded when you visit the site from servers of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google does not store any cookies in your browser when you do this. However, according to our information, the IP address of the user's end device is transmitted to Google and stored. This processing is carried out on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR.

E. Duration of data storage
We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed or until you revoke the consent you have given us. If we are subject to statutory retention requirements, the storage period for certain data may be up to 10 years, regardless of the processing purposes.
F. Your rights as a data subject
a) Information
Upon request, you will receive information about all personal data that we have stored about you at any time and free of charge.
b) Correction, deletion, restriction of processing (blocking), objection
Should you no longer agree to the storage of your personal data or should it have become incorrect, we will, upon instruction, arrange for the deletion or blocking of your data or make the necessary corrections (insofar as this is possible under the applicable law). The same applies if we are only to process data restrictively in the future.
c) Data portability
Upon request, we will provide you with your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format so that you can transfer the data to another controller if you wish.
d) Right to lodge a complaint

Data for which we are unable to identify the data subject, for example if it has been anonymized for analysis purposes, is not covered by the above rights. Information, deletion, blocking, correction or transfer to another company are possible in relation to this data if necessary, if you provide us with additional information that allows us to identify you.

G. Data security
We use SSL 256-bit encryption to ensure the security of the data transmitted to us. You can recognize such encrypted connections by the prefix “https://” in the page link in the address line of your browser. Unencrypted pages are indicated by “http://”. All data that you transmit to our website – for example, when making inquiries or logging in – cannot be read by third parties thanks to SSL encryption.
